Mark Moore spent 10 years as a missionary in Uganda, Africa where he saw children die of SAM's (Severe Acute Malnutrition). He later returned to the USA with his family and worked in the United States Senate where he served as Legislative Fellow and Africa Specialist in the United States Senate for Senator Mary Landrieu. While at Ebenezer's Coffee House in Washington, DC, he prayed, then soon attended a meeting about R.U.T.F. Ready to Use Therapeutic Food which can cure SAM's.
